Halloween
Goblins and gouls
Tricks and treats
That's what Halloween is about
You see little kids
All dressed up
Their parents are laughing and smiling
Some look tired some look bored
Others just look like they have just been born!
Knock on each door
Ring each bell
Fill up a bag full of goods
Then run like the wind for the next go around...
You sit and you watch all the little ones
As they go up as scared as can be....
Then out of the blue
You hear a high-pitched scream
Coming from within
You don't know what it is
You don't know what had caused it
All you know it's in you and it isn't going to pack up and move
The fear and the chill crawl down your spine
Not knowing what just moved in
Now you remember you're in Salom
The place of witches
The place of horrors
You run like a madman
Down the street
People stare and mutter beneath there breath
You are the only one
That has these fears these fears of the devil
Coming after you
And eating you alive....
He is here and you know it
Just don't know where
You back yourself up in a corner and look all around
Not knowing which way he will show from
Finally someone shakes you awake from a midday nap
And yells in your face
"Time to get up,
Tonight is the night we trick and we treat,
But you need a costume so get on your feet!"
Then you realize what the date is
It's October the thirty first!
