I remember you asked me, "Is
it true?
Do the dragons speak with
you?
Do you climb on their backs
and fly,
Invisible to all in an endless
sky?"
"Yes, all that and more," I
replied.
"It must be wonderful," you
sighed.
"I wish I could see them all,
But I wouldn't fly, I might
fall."
"Could you teach me to see
them?" you said
And I watched your face fall
as I shook my head,
"You won't find dragons if
you doubt or fear,
It clouds your eyes so you
can't see clear."
"But I don't doubt or fear,"
you stated.
"Ah, yes you do, for your
own fear you've created.
You said it just before -
do you recall?
You fear to fly, lest you
should fall.
Just let go once - that's all
I'll say,
Let go of the fear and fly
this day."
You did as I said and cast
off your fear
And only then, to you, did
the dragons appear. |
