Flowers
Rose
Love Flower
Don't let this flower by my love be touched
For it would grow to reach forbidden heights
Once witnessed Heavens, the desire's such
That makes all flowers strive for light -
And fade asleep whenever comes the night

Don't let this be, for sunny days are rare
The taste of love is bitter when love is unfair
All sunrays, bright, are weak against the clouds
And, however pure, love's helpless when unshared -
Blue colors, deep, seem pale where grays abound.
